Getting the App

Your Meditation is distributed through the Apple App Store (when released) or TestFlight during beta. Search for Your Meditation by Lutarea on your iPhone or iPad.

The App requires iOS 18.0 or later and runs on iPhone and iPad. The optional home screen widget and Live Activity use the App Group group.com.lutarea.yourmeditation to share a small local snapshot between the main App and its extension.

Common topics

• Your data stays on the device — session history, journal, course progress, and favorites are stored locally with SwiftData. We do not sync your live database to Lutarea servers or CloudKit. To move data to another device, use Settings → Backup & restore → Export backup and import on the other device.
• Explore — browse practices by intention (calm, focus, sleep, and more) or search by name and tags.
• Courses — multi-day programs (for example Start, Better Sleep, Calm the Mind) with day-by-day progress saved on device.
• Progress — streak, weekly chart, calendar heatmap, insights, and optional share card for your stats.
• Journal — optional reflection after sessions; entries stay on your device unless you export them in a backup.
• Biofeedback — optional microphone-based breathing rate check. Grant microphone access only when you start a biofeedback session. Audio is processed on device and not stored by Lutarea.
• Reminders — optional local notifications per weekday under Settings → Reminders.
• Backup — export and import JSON in Settings → Backup & restore. When iCloud is available, exports can save to iCloud Drive → Lutarea BACKUPS (shared Lutarea container). Import supports merge or replace all personal data. Guided meditation audio files bundled with the App are not included in JSON backups.
• App lock — optional passcode and Face ID / Touch ID under Settings → Privacy & Security. Optional privacy blur in the app switcher is in Settings → Privacy.
• Widget — add the home screen widget from the gallery to see streak and practice of the day. Open the App to refresh the snapshot after completing sessions.
• Live Activity — during an active session, progress may appear on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island (iOS 16.2+ for the extension; main App requires iOS 18).
• Language — the App supports multiple interface languages (including English, Russian, Ukrainian, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Czech, and Slovak) via in-app language settings and iOS preferences.
• Siri shortcuts — optional phrases to open Explore, breathwork, or SOS from Shortcuts / Siri when enabled.
• After an app update — your database stays on the device; updates do not intentionally erase it. If data looks missing, try Settings → Backup & restore → Import backup or contact support with App and iOS version. Export backups regularly before major updates.

Reporting a problem

When you email support, please include your iOS version, App version, and steps to reproduce the issue. Screenshots help. If the problem involves import/export, note whether you used merge or replace mode.

We do not provide medical, psychological, or emergency advice. If you are in crisis, contact local emergency services or a qualified professional. SOS breathwork in the App is a wellness tool, not emergency care.
