These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the mobile application Your Free Time (the "App"), developed and operated by Lutarea ("we", "us", or "our"). The App is distributed for Apple platforms (iPhone, iPad, and optional Apple Watch companion) and is listed on the Apple App Store under the marketing name Your Free Time.
By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. The App and eligibility
Your Free Time helps you map weekday and weekend activities, see remaining free time per day and per week, compare plan vs actual time, explore What-if cuts, import calendar events as activities, run focus sessions with optional Live Activity, log time manually, export share cards, use home screen widgets and an Apple Watch companion, and back up or restore JSON data. You must be able to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction and meet any minimum age required by Apple and applicable law.
2. Apple App Store
If you obtain the App through the Apple App Store, your use is also subject to Apple's applicable terms and rules, including the Apple Media Services Terms and the App Store Guidelines. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content, maintenance, or support, except as required by Apple's policies.
3. License
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to install and use the App on Apple devices you own or control, in accordance with the usage rules of the store from which you obtained the App.
- You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, or reverse engineer the App except where mandatory law allows.
- You may not use the App in any way that violates applicable law or infringes third-party rights.
4. Your content and conduct
You are responsible for the activities, time logs, notes, and other content you create or import. You represent that you have the rights necessary to store and process that content on your devices.
Optional features may access Apple frameworks you approve (calendar read access for import, notifications for weekly reminders, biometrics for app lock, iCloud Drive for JSON backups, WidgetKit and App Groups for widgets, WatchConnectivity for the Watch companion, Live Activities during focus sessions, and Siri Shortcuts). You control whether those features are used.
5. Backups and data portability
User JSON backups use the shared iCloud container iCloud.com.lutarea.backups (folder Lutarea BACKUPS / Your Free Time Backups) or a folder you choose. This is separate from any CloudKit database sync — the App does not sync your live SwiftData store through CloudKit. You are responsible for maintaining backups appropriate to your needs and for verifying import results. Apple's iCloud availability, storage limits, and terms apply.
6. Informational use only
Free-time totals, What-if scenarios, and plan vs fact views are planning aids based on data you enter. They are not professional time-management, medical, or wellness advice. You remain responsible for how you use your time.
7. Changes to the App and Terms
We may update the App or these Terms. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
8. Disclaimer
The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant uninterrupted service or freedom from data loss. You are responsible for your own backups.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lutarea and its contributors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the App. Our aggregate liability will not exceed the greater of (a) amounts you paid us for the App in the twelve months before the claim or (b) zero if the App is free.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted.
10. Termination
You may stop using the App by uninstalling it. We may cease providing the App where required by law or if you materially breach these Terms.
11. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by applicable law without regard to conflict-of-law principles, subject to non-waivable consumer rights in your country of residence.
