ข้อกำหนดในการให้บริการ

Last updated: 16 June 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the mobile application Your Bookroom (the "App"), developed and operated by Lutarea ("we", "us", or "our"). The App is distributed for Apple platforms (iPhone and iPad) and is listed on the Apple App Store under the name Your Bookroom.

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. The App and eligibility

Your Bookroom is a personal library and reader application. Features include importing book files (EPUB, PDF, TXT, and other supported formats), organizing your library with tags, collections, and series, rating books and writing reviews, reading with EPUB/PDF/TXT readers (including highlights, notes, table of contents, themes, fonts, text-to-speech, auto-scroll, dictionary lookup, and translation where available), reading statistics and achievements, optional passcode and biometric lock, JSON export and import (with optional save to iCloud Drive Lutarea BACKUPS), and an optional "Reading Now" home screen widget. You must be able to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction and meet any minimum age required by Apple and applicable law.

2. Apple App Store

If you obtain the App through the Apple App Store, your use is also subject to Apple's applicable terms and rules, including the Apple Media Services Terms and the App Store Guidelines. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content, maintenance, or support, except as required by Apple's policies.

3. License

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to install and use the App on Apple devices you own or control, in accordance with the usage rules of the store from which you obtained the App.

• You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, or reverse engineer the App except where mandatory law allows.
• You may not use the App in any way that violates applicable law or infringes third-party rights.

4. Your content and conduct

You are responsible for the books, files, reviews, highlights, notes, and other content you import or create in the App. You represent that you have the rights necessary to store and read that content on your devices. In the current version, live library data is stored locally on the device; exported JSON backups may be saved to iCloud Drive or another folder you choose.

The App does not support DRM-locked commercial ebooks from third-party stores (for example Amazon KFX). You may import files you own or may legally use, including from open catalogs or direct download links you provide. Optional features may use Apple frameworks you approve (for example biometric authentication for app lock, on-device speech for text-to-speech, or Translation for selected text). If you add the home screen widget, a limited summary of your current book may appear on your home screen as described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Sharing, import, and export

The App may let you export JSON backups, highlight exports, review or quote share cards, and import book files or backup JSON you choose. You are responsible for what you share, with whom, and for reviewing imported content before relying on it. Recipients of exported files can read the data you include in those files.

Third-party websites or services you open via saved links or URL import have their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services or for the legality of content on external sites you choose to download.

6. Free tier and Pro (in-app purchase)

The App may offer a free tier with usage limits and an optional paid Pro upgrade through the Apple App Store (when available). In the current version, the free tier may limit the number of books you can add (for example 25 books). Prices, availability, and exact limits are shown in the App at the time of purchase. Purchases, if offered, are billed by Apple and subject to Apple's payment terms.

Until Pro is available for purchase, the App may be distributed free of charge; we may adjust limits during beta or TestFlight testing. Books already in your library above the limit may remain readable and editable; adding new books beyond the limit may be restricted.

7. Changes to the App and Terms

We may update the App or these Terms from time to time. Material changes to the Terms will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date on this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms where permitted by law.

8. Disclaimer

The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of loss of data. Format conversion and reader rendering depend on the source file; you are responsible for maintaining your own backups using export features where available.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Lutarea and its contributors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunities, arising out of or in connection with your use of the App. Our aggregate liability for any claim arising from the App will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the App in the twelve months before the claim or (b) zero if the App is free.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted.

10. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We may cease providing the App or disable access where required by law or if you materially breach these Terms.

11. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by applicable law without regard to conflict-of-law principles, subject to any non-waivable rights you have under consumer protection rules in your country of residence. Courts or authorities with jurisdiction over disputes may vary by region.
