This Privacy Policy describes how Lutarea ("we", "us", or "our") handles information in connection with the mobile application Your Family (the "App") for Apple iOS and iPadOS. The App is associated with the bundle identifier com.lutarea.yourfamily.
1. Summary
Your Family is designed to store and process your data on your device. We do not operate our own backend database that receives the contents of your records for advertising or resale. The App does not sync your live SwiftData database through Apple CloudKit; optional backup uses iCloud Drive files you control. The App does not include third-party advertising or analytics SDKs in the current planned design.
You are responsible for information about family members, including children, that you choose to record; the App stores it on your device. It is not a medical device and does not replace professional medical advice.
2. Data we process
Depending on how you use the App, categories of information may include:
- Your records — family member profiles, children’s growth and milestones, vaccination and visit notes, school and activity schedules, and family events.
- App settings — theme, language, onboarding state, and similar preferences stored locally.
- Optional backups — JSON (and related) files you export to Lutarea BACKUPS / Your Family Backups in iCloud Drive or a folder you choose.
3. Where data stays
Primary storage is local on your device (SwiftData / app sandbox). Optional user-facing backups use the shared iCloud Drive container iCloud.com.lutarea.backups when available. We do not receive those files on Lutarea servers in the current design.
4. Permissions
The App may request system permissions you approve (for example notifications, photo library, or iCloud Drive access). You can revoke permissions in iOS Settings.
5. Children
A parent or guardian uses the App. A child does not use it on their own. The App is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your region) as its users.
You may record information about your own children — growth, milestones, vaccinations, school, and the rest of what the App is for. Those records stay on your device, the same as your other records. Lutarea does not receive them. You are responsible for what you record and for having the right to record it.
6. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will change when we do.
