Getting the App

Your Work is distributed through the Apple App Store (or TestFlight during beta). Search for Your Work by Lutarea on your iPhone or iPad.

The App requires iOS 17.0 or later and runs on iPhone and iPad. Bundle identifier: com.lutarea.yourwork.

Common topics

  • Tasks vs Delegated — Tasks are your own work to-dos (By date / List, calendar day filter, optional recurrence). Delegated are items assigned to someone else so you remember to follow up (Waiting / Nudged / Done + history). Keep work context separate from personal planning in Your Tasks.
  • Offline-first records — people, tasks, notes, labels, and templates are stored on your device with SwiftData. There is no Lutarea account and no CloudKit sync of the live database. To move data to another device, export a JSON backup from Settings and import it (merge or replace). Current backup payload is v4 (older v1–v3 files still import).
  • Notes — text notes or meeting notes with date and participants; links and file/photo attachments; pin; colored labels; create or link tasks; checklist lines (- item) can become tasks; export Markdown or PDF. Photos use the system picker (no continuous photo-library permission).
  • Templates & search — built-in Call… / Visit… starters and your own templates (usage ranking under the title field); global search across tasks, notes, and people; duplicate a task or note from the list.
  • People — Settings → People (or when creating a person): type details or import from Contacts; sort by name / open delegated / recent; Call or Email when contact info exists.
  • Follow-up — on a delegated task, swipe or use the menu to open a mailto draft (if the person has an email) or copy a reminder. Optional recurring follow-up reminders and a history of nudges / completion are available when editing.
  • Share & Calendar — share a task as text, or choose Add to Calendar (Calendar permission only when you use that action).
  • Reminders — Settings → Deadline reminders (and reminder time). Due-date reminders fire on the due day at the time you choose.
  • iCloud backup (optional) — Settings → Backup & restore: export to Files → Lutarea BACKUPS → Your Work Backups (container iCloud.com.lutarea.backups). You can also choose a custom folder. Import supports merge or replace. Requires iCloud (or a custom folder); Lutarea does not receive the backup contents.
  • Limits — you can create up to 100 notes, 100 open tasks, 25 people, 20 labels, and 15 task templates (plus per-note caps: 3 links, 5 attachments). Existing items above a limit remain editable; creating new ones is blocked until you free space. There are no in-app purchases in this release.
  • Themes and language — system / light / dark / Deep Sky / Ocean Light; nine interface languages or follow the system language.
  • App Lock — optional Face ID / Touch ID / passcode gate when opening the App (Settings → App Lock).
  • Widget — add the Your Work Home Screen widget for today’s tasks and waiting follow-ups (titles only). Taps can open a task or quick capture via on-device deep links.
  • Reset — delete items in the App, or uninstall to remove local storage. Exported JSON and note files remain files you manage yourself.

Reporting a problem

When you email support, please include your iOS version, App version (from Settings → About or TestFlight), and steps to reproduce the issue. Screenshots help. For backup import issues, note whether you chose Merge or Replace and the backup file version if known.
