This Privacy Policy describes how Lutarea ("we", "us", or "our") handles information in connection with the mobile application Your Feeds (the "App") for Apple iOS and iPadOS. The App is associated with the bundle identifier com.lutarea.yourfeeds.
1. Summary
Your Feeds is designed to store and process your data on your device. We do not operate our own backend database that receives the contents of your records for advertising or resale. The App does not sync your live database through Apple CloudKit; optional backup uses iCloud Drive files you control. The App does not include third-party advertising or analytics SDKs in the current planned design. To update your feeds, the App requests them directly from the publishers' sites (see section 4).
2. Data we process
Depending on how you use the App, categories of information may include:
- Your records — subscriptions, folders, saved headlines and summaries, read and starred marks, and keyword rules.
- App settings — theme, language, onboarding state, and similar preferences stored locally.
- Optional backups — JSON (and related) files you export to Lutarea BACKUPS / Your Feeds Backups in iCloud Drive or a folder you choose.
3. Where data stays
Primary storage is local on your device (app sandbox). Optional user-facing backups use the shared iCloud Drive container iCloud.com.lutarea.backups when available. We do not receive those files on Lutarea servers in the current design.
4. Third-party data sources
The App requests the feeds you subscribe to directly from your device to the publishers' sites. Each publisher can see the request and your IP address, as with any web request, and sees the App's honest User-Agent. Lutarea servers do not receive your subscriptions or articles.
The App shows only the headline, a short excerpt and a link taken from the feed. Opening an article loads the publisher's own website, which is governed by that publisher's terms and privacy policy. Articles you have read are removed from the App after 30 days; starred ones are kept until you remove them.
5. Permissions
The App may request system permissions you approve (for example notifications, background refresh, or iCloud Drive access). You can revoke permissions in iOS Settings.
6. Children
The App is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your region). Do not provide personal information about children through the App beyond what you choose to keep on your own device.
7. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will change when we do.
