Getting the App

Your Badges is distributed through the Apple App Store. Search for Your Badges by Lutarea on your iPhone or iPad, or open the store link from TestFlight if you are in a beta program.

The App requires iOS 17.0 or later and runs on iPhone and iPad. Bundle identifier: com.lutarea.yourbadges. Optional widget: com.lutarea.yourbadges.widget.

Common topics

  • Offline-first badges — badges, levels, and progress are stored on your device with SwiftData. There is no Lutarea account and no CloudKit sync of the live database. To move data to another device, export a JSON backup from Settings and import it on the other device (Merge or Replace).
  • Home and catalog — pick badges from the built-in catalog onto Home, earn the first level, then level up. Locked selected badges show "?" until earned.
  • Custom badges — create your own badge with levels, challenges, and optional rewards. Attach a photo via Photos picker or choose an SF Symbol. Duplicate, reset progress, or delete custom badges from the detail screen.
  • Kids mode & preferences — Settings → Preferences: confirm earn/level-up, hide rewards, Kids mode, and Home sort. Kids mode enlarges controls and simplifies some actions; it is a local preference only.
  • Widget — add the Your Badges widget to see a few in-progress selected badges. It reads a small snapshot from App Group group.com.lutarea.yourbadges on the same device.
  • iCloud backup (optional) — Settings → Data: export to Files → Lutarea BACKUPS → Your Badges Backups (container iCloud.com.lutarea.backups). Backups may include custom badge photos. Import supports Merge or Replace. Requires iCloud; Lutarea does not receive the backup contents.
  • Free limits — Free plan can select up to 25 badges, create up to 10 custom badges, and use up to 4 levels per badge. Existing items above a limit remain editable; creating new ones may be blocked until you free space. No in-app purchases in the current Free-only release.
  • Themes and language — system / light / dark / brand Original themes; nine interface languages or follow the system language.
  • Share — from a badge detail screen you can generate a share card image and send it through the system share sheet.
  • Reset — deselect badges from Home, reset progress, delete custom badges, or uninstall to remove local storage. Exported JSON files remain files you manage yourself.

Reporting a problem

When you email support, please include your iOS version, App version (from the App Store or TestFlight), and steps to reproduce the issue. Screenshots help. For backup import issues, note whether you used Merge or Replace and whether custom photos were involved.
