This Privacy Policy describes how Lutarea ("we", "us", or "our") handles information in connection with the mobile application Your Baby (the "App") for Apple iOS and iPadOS. The App is associated with the bundle identifier com.lutarea.yourbaby.
1. Summary
Your Baby is designed to store and process your data on your device. We do not operate our own backend database that receives the contents of your records for advertising or resale. The App does not sync your live database through Apple CloudKit; optional backup uses iCloud Drive files you control. The App does not include third-party advertising or analytics SDKs in the current planned design.
This App is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment; logs and charts are informational only and do not replace your paediatrician. Health-related data stays on your device.
2. Data we process
Depending on how you use the App, categories of information may include:
- Your records — children's profiles, feeding, sleep, diaper and pumping logs, growth measurements, temperature, and notes.
- App settings — theme, language, onboarding state, and similar preferences stored locally.
- Optional backups — JSON (and related) files you export to Lutarea BACKUPS / Your Baby Backups in iCloud Drive or a folder you choose.
3. Where data stays
Primary storage is local on your device (app sandbox). Optional user-facing backups use the shared iCloud Drive container iCloud.com.lutarea.backups when available. We do not receive those files on Lutarea servers in the current design.
4. Permissions
The App may request system permissions you approve (for example notifications, photo library, or iCloud Drive access). You can revoke permissions in iOS Settings.
5. Children
The App is built for parents and guardians. Information about a child is entered by an adult and is stored only on your device and in your own backup. The App is not intended for use by children.
6. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will change when we do.
